The project involves the presentation of Krzysztof Penderecki's music by Marek Moś – one of the most charismatic polish conductors, who specialises in a contemporary repertoire and Pianohooligan – the author of the most sensational debut in the last ten years for london Decca record company, laureate of Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition, the artist nominated to Gwarancja Kultury prize, Fryderyk prize and Korfeusz prize.
The early works of Penderecki – Polifonia and Tren have been discovered once again recently thanks to Penderecki's extraordinary collaborations with such musicians like Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Aphex Twin or Pianohooligan. The arist stole the show of London's Barbican and Open'er Festival. The eyes of the international critics turned to an avant-garde works of the polish master.
